Cheddar-Stuffed Mushrooms in the Air Fryer – A Cheesy, Keto-Friendly Bite-Sized Snack

Looking for the perfect keto appetizer or snack that’s both low in carbs and big on flavor? These cheddar-stuffed mushrooms are the answer. Loaded with gooey cheese and aromatic herbs, they’re ready in just 5 minutes thanks to the air fryer. With only 1.6 grams of carbs per serving, they fit perfectly into your low-carb lifestyle — and they taste like something you'd get at a gourmet bistro.

Why Mushrooms Are a Keto Superfood

Mushrooms are not only low in carbs, but they’re also rich in antioxidants and immune-boosting compounds. A 100g serving of white mushrooms contains just 3.3g of total carbohydrates and less than 1g of sugar, according to the USDA FoodData Central. They're also a great source of selenium, vitamin D, and potassium — all nutrients that support metabolic and immune health on a ketogenic diet.

Ingredients:

  • 9 oz. mushroom caps
  • 6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
