Flounder with Dill and Capers is a light, aromatic dish featuring fresh dill and tangy capers. Steamed gently with lemon wedges, this recipe offers a healthy and flavorful option perfect for keto and low-carb diets.

Ingredients

  • 4 flounder fillets
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons chopped capers
  • 4 lemon wedges
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions

  1. Place a trivet in a large saucepan and pour in 1–2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Place the flounder fillets in a heatproof dish that fits inside the saucepan.
  3. Season the fillets with salt and pepper, and drizzle olive oil evenly over all sides.
  4. Sprinkle chopped dill and capers on top of the fillets.
  5. Seal the dish tightly with foil.
  6. Place the dish on the trivet inside the saucepan, cover, and steam for 15 minutes until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
  7. Serve with fresh lemon wedges and enjoy!
