Ingredients

  • 2 lbs extra lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2½ tsp Lawry’s seasoned salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices cooked bacon
  • Optional Toppings: BBQ sauce, diced chives, ranch, extra diced bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, and black pepper.
  3. Form four large meatballs, place them on the baking sheet, and press a clean can into the center of each to shape a bowl. Remove the can and smooth out the edges.
  4. In a small pan, heat the butter and sauté mushrooms with a pinch of salt and pepper until tender. Set aside.
  5. Fill each beef bowl with shredded cheddar, sautéed mushrooms, crumbled bacon, and top with more cheddar.
  6. Loosely cover the tray with foil and bake for 30 minutes or until beef is fully cooked and cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from oven and add desired toppings like BBQ sauce, ranch, diced chives, or extra bacon.
