Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • ½ cup tahini
  • ½ cup psyllium husk powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the psyllium husk powder, baking powder, flaxseed, and salt.
  3. Pour in the water gradually while stirring. Mix until the water is fully absorbed and a sticky dough forms.
  4. Add the tahini and knead the mixture until a uniform dough is formed.
  5. Divide the dough and shape into 4-inch wide patties, about ¼ inch thick. Cut a small hole in the center of each to resemble bagels.
  6. Place on the baking tray and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  8. Let cool, then slice in half and toast if desired. Enjoy with your favorite keto-vegan spread!
