Ingredients
- 1 lb. salmon fillet, cut into 4 portions
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons pepitas (pumpkin seeds), ground
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place a trivet inside a large saucepan and pour in 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Arrange the salmon portions in a heatproof dish that fits inside the saucepan.
- Drizzle lime juice evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
- Sprinkle the ground pepitas on top of the fillets for a nutty crunch.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and place it on the trivet in the saucepan.
- Cover the saucepan with a lid and steam the salmon for 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
