Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork sausage
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly in the baking dish. Top with optional peppers and shredded cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and cheese.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
