Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets, skin removed
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
- 6 scallions, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Place a trivet in a large saucepan and pour in 1–2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, coconut aminos, grated ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place chopped scallions in a heatproof dish that fits inside the saucepan. Season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the ginger mixture evenly over the scallions and cod fillets.
- Arrange the cod fillets on top of the scallions. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
- Place the dish on the trivet inside the saucepan, cover, and steam for 15 minutes or until the cod is opaque and flakes easily.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh, aromatic flavors.
