Steamed Mustard Salmon combines the tangy richness of Dijon mustard with fresh lemon, garlic, and aromatic dill. Steamed to perfection, this keto-friendly seafood dish is moist, flavorful, and perfect for a quick nutritious meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 whole lemon (half sliced, half juiced)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 salmon fillets, skin removed
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Slice one half of the lemon into thin circles. Juice the other half into a small bowl.
  2. In the bowl with lemon juice, whisk together Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and dill weed. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place a trivet inside a large saucepan and pour in 1–2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Arrange lemon slices in a heatproof dish that fits inside the saucepan.
  5. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then spread the mustard mixture evenly on top.
  6. Place the salmon on the lemon slices, cover the dish tightly with foil.
  7. Set the dish on the trivet, cover the saucepan, and steam for 15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite low-carb sides.
