Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 whole lemon (half sliced, half juiced)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 salmon fillets, skin removed
- 1 tablespoon dill weed
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Slice one half of the lemon into thin circles. Juice the other half into a small bowl.
- In the bowl with lemon juice, whisk together Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and dill weed. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place a trivet inside a large saucepan and pour in 1–2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Arrange lemon slices in a heatproof dish that fits inside the saucepan.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then spread the mustard mixture evenly on top.
- Place the salmon on the lemon slices, cover the dish tightly with foil.
- Set the dish on the trivet, cover the saucepan, and steam for 15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Serve immediately with your favorite low-carb sides.
